When you think of winter, it’s hard not to think about slippery walking conditions and the possible risks of icy walkways.
A customer in Toronto, Ontario, dealt with icy conditions all winter long outside of their house. Their concrete patio was sinking, causing water to pool next to the home’s foundation. The problem was only getting worse, so they reached out to Canadian Concrete Leveling.
Project Manager Joe McColl met with the homeowners and inspected their walkway. They were happy to hear about how we could repair their concrete, and a date was set for our crew to come out.
Foreman Kyle McKeown used dime-sized holes to inject our high-density polyurethane beneath the slabs to lift and level them. This process also compresses fill soils below, filling any voids and preventing the issue from returning.
The homeowners are delighted that water will no longer pool by their home, and they’re looking forward to a safe winter.
