Total Leveling: Georgetown, Ontario - From Front Walkway to Back Patio
Challenge
This beautiful Georgetown, Ontario home was facing a common but frustrating issue with its stamped concrete. Over time, shifting soil caused multiple areas of settlement, leaving uneven surfaces and significant trip hazards at every entrance.
The problem wasn’t isolated. The front walkway and steps had dropped several inches, creating a noticeable gap between the stairs and the porch. At the rear, the back patio steps had also begun to sink, pulling away from the sliding door threshold. These gaps not only detracted from the home’s curb appeal but made navigating the exterior unsafe—especially in wet weather when slips were more likely. The homeowners needed a solution that was fast, durable, and minimally disruptive, avoiding the mess and cost of a full concrete replacement.
Solution
To resolve these issues efficiently, we utilized our polyurethane foam injection (poly-leveling) process. By injecting a high-density polymer beneath the slabs, we were able to precisely lift and stabilize the front walkway, front steps, and back patio steps to their original heights.
Because the material is waterproof and won’t wash away, this method provides a permanent solution to soil shifting, preventing future settlement. Once all slabs were level, we sealed any voids with premium crack and joint sealant, restoring both the safety and aesthetic of the stamped concrete. The result is a smooth, level, and durable exterior that homeowners can safely use immediately—all completed in just a few hours with minimal disruption.
