What began as a few hairline cracks quickly became a major liability for this busy residential complex. Years of soil erosion beneath the concrete pathways had created significant trip hazards, leaving uneven slabs with vertical drops of over two inches. The location made the situation urgent because the main walkway led directly to the community playground. With families and children using the path daily, property management began receiving reports of trips and minor injuries. Temporary orange safety cones were put in place, but they couldn’t address the underlying danger.

Solution

Canadian Concrete Leveling provided a precise, minimally invasive solution using high-density polyurethane injection technology. Our team identified the hollows beneath the concrete slabs that were causing the sinking and filled them with our specialized material. As the polymer expanded, it gently lifted the uneven slabs back to a perfectly flush position, stabilizing the ground and preventing future settling. The repair was completed quickly and efficiently, allowing families to use the walkway immediately.
