Before & After

Sloping Walkway Poses Water Seepage Risk in Newmarket, Ontario

Keeping your home in great shape is a priority for most homeowners. Not only does it prevent repairs, but it gives us a sense of pride. Many different elements can threaten our homes, however, and sometimes repairs need to be made, regardless of how well the home is kept up.

Customers in Newmarket, Ontario, were concerned about water seeping into their basement. They have a concrete slab walkway along the side of their home, but settlement had caused the slabs to slope towards the home’s foundation. Looking to prevent any problems rather than fix them, the customers met with Project Manager Paul Mendell. Paul discussed how we could eliminate the issue, and the customers happily agreed.

Foreman Kyle McKeown used our PolyLevel® Process to lift along the entire side of the slabs, removing the slope towards the foundation. After the lift was complete, NexusPro® was applied to seal any cracks and prevent moisture from gaining access beneath the concrete.

The customer is delighted that their home is protected once again, and they love how the NexusPro® Sealant turned out.
