A garage floor deals with a lot of wear and tear. You might use the space for storage, parking, or a workshop, but no matter what, the ground below takes a toll.
In Innisfil, Ontario, a customer reached out to Canadian Concrete Leveling after noticing several large cracks throughout his garage floor. He used the area for storage and parking but had stopped using the space to prevent the floor from getting worse.
Project Manager Paul Mendell met with the customer and inspected the garage floor. Paul determined that water had eroded dirt away from below the slab, creating voids where the concrete settled.
Foreman Kyle McKeown started the repair by drilling dime-sized holes in the floor. Through these injection ports, he installed our expanding polyurethane system, PolyLevel®. As the two polymers mix beneath the concrete, a chemical reaction causes the polyurethane to expand, lifting the concrete while filling the gaps below to prevent the issue from returning.
The customer is happy to have a garage to use again, and he appreciates the honest, hard work from the entire Canadian Concrete Leveling team.
