Before & After

Sinking Front Steps Hazardous for Customer's Parents in Kleinburg, Ontario

As we grow older, things we used to not worry about start to become possible safety hazards.

In Kleinburg, Ontario, a customer reached out to Canadian Concrete Leveling to deal with his sinking front steps. His elderly parents were starting to struggle walking up the incline, and he was concerned it was only a matter of time before someone fell.

Project Manager Paul Mendell met with the homeowner and addressed his concerns. Paul explained how our PolyLevel® System uses high-density polyurethane to lift sinking concrete while stabilizing the soils below.

Foreman Kyle McKeown drilled dime-sized holes in the concrete surface to use as injection ports for the polyurethane. As the polymers mix, they expand, lifting the step back to a safe height.

The customers can’t believe how fast the repair was. Our crew was finished in half a day’s work, and the homeowner is looking forward to having his parents over again.
