Multiple Trip Hazards Removed in Brampton, ON

Our client had trip hazards on walkways and medians in their parking lot, which was a severe issue. They knew that to keep their customers safe, they would need to remove all of the trip hazards.

That's when they contacted Canadian Concrete Leveling for their free estimate.

Our Managing Partner, Anthony Melia, assessed the area and concluded that PolyLevel® installations for all sectors were needed to remove all trip hazards.

The plan was set, our Installation Foreman, Bill McKeown, went to the property to perform all PolyLevel® Installations.

When the work was complete, our client was full of relief knowing that his customers would be safe from any trip hazards.

Cracked and Uneven Basement Floor, Midland, ON

A home in Midland, Ontario, had a problem with the basement floor. The concrete had dropped down 2 inches towards the side of the house. It also had a fracture crack across it where the floor had snapped and began to sink. The homeowner could not use the space since it was uneven and the crack was a trip hazard for everyone.

The homeowner called Canadian Concrete Leveling and spoke to Paul Mendell who explained our PolyLevel Injection system. Our installation team injected the polyurethane through small dime-seized holes and lifted the floor back up to its original position.

Not only was the trip hazard eliminated, the homeowner really appreciated the cost-effective, non-invasive PolyLevel process, without any of the mess and disruption associated with having to tear out and replace a basement floor.

Concrete Leveling in Oakville, ON

This homeowner's front entrance and driveway needed a lift after years of normal wear and tear to their home, so they called Clarke Basement Systems to help solve the issue. We sent out one of our inspectors, Paul Mendell to take a look at their home and he made incredible recommendations.

We were able to lift the concrete slabs back to its original height using our PolyLevel® Injection and also match up the adjoining walkway and two driveway slabs. Once the lift and void fill was complete, we finished off the project by neatly sealing all treated areas with NexusPro® Sealant.

Lifted Patio in Oakville, ON

A concrete patio in Oakville ON was sinking and started to slope towards the foundation of our customer’s house. The homeowner was worried that water might start leaking into the basement.

The customer called Canadian Concrete Leveling for advice and to book an appointment. Our Project Manager suggested our patented PolyLevel Injection System. Our expert installation team used polyurethane to fill the voids under the concrete patio and used NexusPro Joint Sealant to seal cracks.

Our customer was so relieved that our team was able to lift and stabilize the patio successfully and in such a short amount of time. They also have peace of mind knowing water will not leak into their house.

Sinking Walkway Puts Entire Family at Risk in Oakville, Ontario

Having a large family means people of all ages and sizes coming into your home. It could be your young cousins coming to visit or elderly grandparents, but either way, we do what we can to make our home inviting and safe for them.

A customer in Oakville, Ontario, was dealing with sinking front concrete steps. The way it looked didn’t bother him, but he was concerned someone would trip and fall at some point. Each winter, snow and water would pool in the spot as well, turning part of his front walkway into a skating rink. Rather than waiting for someone to hurt themselves, he decided to call Canadian Concrete Leveling.

Project Manager Kyle O’Brien met with the customer and inspected his front walkway. Kyle explained how our PolyLevel® and NexusPro® Systems work, and the customer was excited to book a date for the repair.

PolyLevel® is made from two polymers that combine to form a high-density polyurethane. When the mixture is injected below the concrete, it expands, compressing fill soils and lifting the slab. PolyLevel® weighs less than 10% of other lifting methods and cures in 15 minutes rather than 24 hours.

NexusPro® is a flexible, waterproof sealant that keeps moisture and debris out of concrete cracks and seams. NexusPro® is UV resistant and cures in only an hour.

Foreman Kyle McKeown started by drilling dime-sized holes in the concrete surface to use as injection ports. After lifting the concrete with our high-density polyurethane, the holes were patched with fresh concrete.

The customer is very happy that everything was so non-invasive and efficient. He was pleasantly surprised that he could use the area the same day and has peace of mind knowing safety is no longer a concern.
