Pool Deck Settlement & Concrete Leveling Repair in Bowmanville, Ontario

A homeowner in Bowmanville, Ontario noticed their backyard pool deck had begun to settle and separate over time, creating uneven surfaces and visible gaps along the pool’s edge. The shifting concrete exposed voids near the foundation and raised concerns about safety, water damage, and the long-term condition of the pool area—especially with the home being prepared for sale.

Rather than replacing the entire deck, the homeowner contacted Canadian Concrete Leveling for a fast, minimally invasive solution. After inspection, the team used the PolyLevel® polyurethane foam injection system to lift and stabilize the affected sections. High-density foam was injected beneath the slab to fill voids, compact weak soil, and raise the concrete back toward its original level.

Once completed, the pool deck was leveled, gaps were closed, and the surface was stabilized for safe use. The result was a clean, fast repair that restored both safety and curb appeal without the cost or disruption of full replacement.

PoylLevel® Injection Saves Foundation, Peterborough, ON

Moving out of the city to the suburbs is a big move, but moving into your dream home is what matters. Our clients in Peterborough wanted to have a ready-to-move-in home, but unfortunately, there was some work to do before making it their ideal space. The front walkway was sinking on one side, exposing its foundation. With the foundation exposed, the house was vulnerable to underneath damage.

With the help of Kyle O'Brien and our installation team, the problem was fixed in under 60 minutes using our PolyLevel® injections. Kyle recommended the injection method, which involves minimal invasion and little to no curing time, and it did precisely that. The walkway looked flawless after the work was done. No more worry about foundation integrity loss.

Soil Void Causes Basement Floor to Sink in Peterborough, Ontario

Usually, our home’s foundation is made from concrete, or something very similar. Concrete is the base of our home, and typically, there is a concrete subfloor in the basement.

A customer in Peterborough, Ontario, noticed that his basement floor wasn’t meeting the bottom edge of the wall like it used to. He had no idea what to do, so he reached out to Canadian Concrete Leveling for a solution.

He met with Project Manager Joe McColl who put his worries at ease. Joe explained how we could lift the concrete and also fill any voids below to prevent the problem from reoccurring.

Foreman Bill McKeown completed the repair by drilling several dime-sized holes in the floor. These holes are used for injecting our high-density polymer, which expands beneath the concrete.

The customer is thrilled that his basement floor is repaired. His home is protected, and he saved thousands, not excavating.

New Retiree Looking to Redo Backyard in Cobourg, Ontario

Redoing your backyard can be a massive undertaking, but it’s worth it when you see the final result.

A customer in Cobourg, Ontario, was starting his backyard renovation. The client has recently retired, and his new backyard was his top priority. He knew how important it was to level his concrete pool deck before he started, and the backyard was borderline unusable due to the failing concrete.

Project Manager Kyle O’Brien met with the homeowner and inspected the backyard. The client was expecting Kyle to say he needed to have new slabs poured but was presently surprised by our solution.

Kyle explained that our PolyLevel® System uses high-density polyurethane injections to lift the concrete back to a level grade. The customer was concerned about the issue returning, but Kyle showed him a video demonstrating how our system also compresses soils below.

Foreman Kyle McKeown was tasked with completing the repair. Kyle installed our PolyLevel® System to lift the concrete back to grade. Once he was finished, he patched the injection holes and showed the customer the completed repair.

The homeowner is thrilled that his concrete is repaired. He knew he needed the work done before redoing his backyard, and he was excited that the first step was complete.
