This letter is to provide a reference to Canadian Concrete Leveling for diligent and professional support of our project at the Pickering Nuclear Generation. The Canadian Concrete Leveling team led by Matt McCullough completed their scope successfully despite the stringent conditions and tight schedule deadlines. The project had a significant issue arise with the break of an underground fire suppression water main where the area around the pipe suffered significant soil loss, disturbance and weakening of soil. The soil saturation in the area caused a significant risk to the stability of an adjacent manhole servicing the steam blow-off system in the station. Canadian Concrete Leveling came as a recommended subcontractor by Golder Associates, the subject matter expert consultant for geotechnical issues on the project, to help with the stabilization of the structure at risk. Matt McCullough was also referred by name as the lead for the repair. Working on our site comes with a significant need for safety training and protocols. CCL met this challenge and provided all training certificates needed in a matter of days, supporting the project on an emergency basis. Furthermore, CCL’s team’s input was very valuable when integrating the solution with other subcontractors and design agencies to ensure the structure stabilization is performed efficiently, without affecting the adjacent work on repairing the fireline water main afterwards. Once on-site, the work was completed in two shifts in an incredibly professional manner, with emphasis on safety and quality. Once the work was completed, CCL provided their substantial completion notice and as-built report within a couple of days from completing the work, meeting their budget and schedule requirements. Should the need arise, I would welcome CCL’s team, under Matt McCullough’s leadership, for further work of a similar nature given the outstanding performance that was witnessed.

No job too small. Fixed a problem from getting worse. Also noticed I had cracked cement in areas and also old sealant around cemented area along house. Asked if I would like that fixed also. Did it ASAP. Great fast friendly service.

Kyle and his team were amazing. My living room had been converted from a garage many years ago. I had noticed the concrete slab sinking and called Canadian Concrete Leveling to get their opinion. When I did the demo I discovered a spiderweb of cracks and at some points the floor had sunk 5 1/2 inches. Kyle brought everything up level with the framework, 5 hours, no mess and a very reasonable price. The floor is 100% stable and I can get on with my renovations immediately. Thanks guys. Comments on the process, I wish to commend Joe for coming out and giving me the quote on the job and for helping me to get this set up and done as quickly as we could.  BUT secondly, I want to highly commend the two guys, Kyle and Brandon, I think there names were.  They called to let me know when they would be arriving and they arrived the exact time. Kyle greeted me and they went right to work. Being that I had never seen this being done, I stood out with them and watch the whole time with many question which they both answered and explain what was happening at that time.  These guys were so friendly and knowledgeable as to what they were doing it eased me to know it would be a job well done. I want to highly recommend these guys on a job well done to the company and to their hierarchy.  Would recommend a raise for these two young guys as they are a great big asset to Canadian Concrete Leveling.
