Sunken Concrete Along a Home in Markham, ON
Our customer in Markham, Ontario, had a concern with a concrete slab located on the right side of their home. The slab had sunken near the house, directing rainwater towards the foundation. Our customer's concern was that the pooling water would lead to further damages. Also, on top of the slab sat a pool heater and a pump. Since the heater was sitting at an angle, the flame was not aiming where it was supposed to, resulting in damaging the heater.   Our customer knew to call Canadian Concrete Leveling, after previously having a job completed by our company. An appointment was then set up with Project Lead, Paul Mendell. Paul advised our customer about all the benefits Polyurethane would do to fix their issue. Kyle and Steve, injected our expanding Polyurethane under the concrete.   How does Polyurethane work? Polyurethane fills the voids underneath the slab, then lifts and stabilizes the concrete back to the original height.   Our customer was pleased with the job. The slab is now stabilized and ready for a new pool heater. Water is no longer directed towards the home giving our customer peace of mind that no future damage will occur.
A Devastating Trip Hazard Removed in Markham, ON
The homeowner was devastated that her 97-year-old father had tripped on her walkway last year. He could no longer risk stepping onto the hazardous stairs with his walker. He refused to leave the house due to his fear of falling. Once the homeowner decided to get rid of this trip hazard, she contacted Canadian Concrete Leveling for a free estimate.  Project Manager, Paul Mendell, inspected the steps and surrounding area and determined that a PolyLevel® Injection would be needed to lift and level the stairs. Foreman Kyle McKeown and his team got to work!  When the job was complete, the homeowner was ecstatic with the installation and the peace of mind it has given her. Now the homeowner's father can use the walkway without being afraid of falling. With fully functional stairs, he has left the house for the first time in more than six months. This project is an example of what makes being part of Canadian Concrete Leveling so rewarding. We are thrilled we were able to fix this problem for the homeowner and her father.
Mending a Crack in Toronto, Ontario
This customer in Toronto, Ontario, was experiencing heaving in their garage floor. A large, significant crack was forming along the floor of their garage. Noticeably getting worse year by year, the crack had already shifted enough to create a 1-inch lip in the floor. An obvious tripping hazard and not one that you want in a garage where you store your belongings. Limiting access to their storage space and wreaking havoc on their peace of mind, the customer reached out to Canadian Concrete Leveling for help. Installation Foreman Bill McKeown and his team arrived on the Jobsite and immediately began their meticulous process of releveling the concrete. After small holes are drilled down into the concrete, we inject our robust and patented material PolyLevel® underneath the concrete filling in the voids and then lifting the entire slab. After raising the slab 1 inch and making the garage accessible again, the customer was elated to have their space back.
Back Patio Sloping in the Wrong Direction, Washago ON
Washago, ON, homeowners noticed that half of their back patio was slanting towards the home. Next, they found a crack right in the middle – one side was levelled, and the other seemed to be sinking toward the house. Not thinking anything of it, the following day, there was heavy rainfall. They saw the water sloping down the patio and pooling at the home's foundation. It was time to call professionals to handle this before it got worse and started leaking into the basement. Our Project Manager arrived at the home and explained how the concrete would be lifted with minimal disruption, with long-lasting results. These were all excellent benefits for homeowners – they said yes without hesitation. The work was completed above their expectations. They said they would even recommend our services to everyone they know! The homeowners could finally set up their patio without breaking the bank on a maintenance repair.
Concrete Slab Leveling in Goodwood, Ontario - Restoring Foundations for a Hydroponic Greenhouse Project
A home and school facility in Goodwood, Ontario had problems with their outdoor concrete slabs. The slabs had settled significantly, with one end sloping as much as 9 inches, making it impossible to move forward with the planned construction of hydroponic greenhouses. The project was part of a meaningful program at a school supporting children with autism, designed to teach hydroponic farming skills and promote independence through hands-on learning. However, the uneven slabs were preventing the greenhouse structures from being safely installed. After assessing the site, our team confirmed that the concrete required precision lifting to restore proper grade and usability. Using a high-density polyurethane injection system, our foremen carefully lifted and stabilized the slabs back to a level position suitable for construction. Once completed, the surface was fully stabilized and properly aligned, allowing the greenhouse project to move forward as planned. We were proud to support a project that will create meaningful learning opportunities and long-term skills development for the students involved.
Clean Finishes in Pickering, Ontario
When a vertical crack appears in your concrete, it’s more than just an eyesore—it’s an invitation for moisture, dirt, and debris to settle in. We recently worked on a Pickering, Ontario project where a prominent crack was compromising both the visual appeal and structural integrity of the floor.   Our team applied a premium concrete crack and joint sealant, carefully filling the gap to prevent further deterioration. By choosing a colour that closely matches the existing concrete, we delivered a seamless, clean finish that not only protects the surface but keeps the area looking polished and professional.
All Hands on Deck
In Ajax, Ontario, our clients had a wonderful back patio that they love using every summer. They often entertain and lounge on the deck. Unfortunately, it came to an end when the homeowners discovered an alarming crack in the middle of the joint, leading to the foundation of the elevated concrete patio. They are concerned the deck will collapse one day, so they stopped using the space.   Demolishing and re-pouring more concrete is very expensive, and our clients wanted to avoid spending crazy amounts on fixing their beloved patio. Instead, they found CCL online and knew it was the perfect fix for an affordable price. Our Project Manager Kyle O'Brien gave them a rundown as to what would be completed. The homeowners were set at ease when they knew the concrete could be lifted, supported, and sealed off from the elements permanently.    The first part of the job was to lift the patio slabs to the original height. We inject the sinking slab with our high-density polymer called PolyLevel®. This injection holds the concrete up permanently; say goodbye to mud jacking! The next section of the job was to seal the joint with our weatherproof, chemical-proof, and malleable sealer called NexusPro. This product fills the joints and provides a clean finish to make the concrete patio look at its best. The owners were thrilled with how fast the process took and how clean NexusPro® sealed the job. All hands on deck today!
Concrete Walkway Leveling in Ajax, Ontario - Preserving a Stamped Concrete Entrance
The front walkway of a home in Ajax, Ontario had settled by about an inch, creating uneven sections and concerns about cracking and trip hazards. The homeowners wanted a solution that would restore the surface without replacing the concrete. After inspection, our team found voids beneath the slab caused by shifting soil. We used a precision polyurethane injection system to stabilize the base and lift the walkway back into position. Small injection points were drilled, and high-density foam was used to fill the voids and gently raise the concrete. The walkway was quickly restored to a level, stable, and safe condition. The result is a clean, functional entrance that was repaired without demolition and ready for use shortly after completion.
Pool Walkway Concrete Repair & Leveling in Manilla, ON
The concrete walkway surrounding a beautiful inground pool in Manilla had begun to sink, creating a dangerous trip hazard and placing unnecessary stress on the pool’s structure. Over time, the slab settled below the adjacent wooden decking, leaving the poolside area uneven, unstable, and unsafe for daily use. Canadian Concrete Leveling was called in to restore safety and functionality to the space. Using precision concrete leveling techniques, our team carefully lifted the heavy walkway slab back to its original position. The process ensured the concrete was realigned with the surrounding surfaces, including the pool edge and decking, while maintaining the aesthetic appeal of the backyard. By filling the underlying voids and stabilizing the sub-grade, we eliminated trip hazards and prevented further movement of the concrete. The walkway is now fully secure, level, and safe for both foot traffic and poolside activities. These homeowners and their guests can now enjoy the pool area with confidence, knowing that the walkway is stable, level, and structurally secure.   This project highlights the effectiveness of targeted concrete leveling for residential pool areas, showing how precision lifting and sub-grade stabilization can quickly resolve safety issues while preserving the existing surfaces. Whether it’s a backyard patio, walkway, or poolside slab, these solutions provide a cost-effective, long-lasting fix for uneven concrete around homes in Manilla and the surrounding area.
