Polyurethane Injection in Oakville, ON

This walkway on the side of our customer’s home posed a significant tripping hazard. Also, the concrete had sloped towards the foundation which could cause water to pool damaging the house. Luckily, Canadian Concrete Leveling had the perfect solution for the settled and sinking concrete. Polyurethane was injected to lift and stabilize the customer's walkway. The transformation is incredible!

Pool Deck Started Sinking, Oakville Ontario

This pool deck in Oakville Ontario, needed a pick-me-up, literally. The homeowner noticed there were various tripping hazards along the deck when accidentally tripping over one. The concrete had started to sink and the pool liner had revealed a gap that followed down the side of the pool. If the gap isn't filled, the pool water would trickle into the void causing concrete damage and further cracks.

Canadian Concrete Levelling was called to fix this unlevelled concrete permanently. Our Project Manager Matt Ruskin arrived at the home to give these kind homeowners an honest quote. Since the concrete was sinking only on one side, Matt suggested a few polyurethane injections going into the one slab to lift the deck back to its original state. On a later day, we had our installation duo Kyle and JP come to the home and start the work. They used our PolyLevel® polyurethane lifting method and the concrete lifted with ease! Take a look at the results.

Side Walkway Causing Hazard, Oakville, ON

A home in Oakville, Ontario, had problems at the side of the home. There was a section at the side of the house, apart of the pool deck that had sunk 1.5” causing a trip hazard with the adjacent slabs.

The customer called Clarke Basement Systems and spoke to John DiNicolantonio, the Project Lead, who explained everything that would be done. The Canadian Concrete Leveling Foreman , Billy McKeown, drilled small, dime sized holes through the concrete and injected our PolyLevel Foam underneath the slabs. The foam followed the path of least resistance underneath the concrete to fill all of the voids and then expanded. We were able to use the expansion of the foam to lift the walkway to protect them from further settlement and eliminate trip hazards.

Front Steps Causing Hazard, Oakville, ON

A home in Oakville, Ontario, had problems at the at the front of the home. The front step had sunk about 1.5” causing a large trip hazard with the patio. The drop made the step up to the patio larger than regulation and was an eyesore. The customer had bad knees and would struggle to get up the step. The customer was also dissatisfied with the aesthetics of the gap and wanted to get it fixed.

PolyLevel Injections for Tenant walkway, Dutton, Ontario

A home in Dutton, Ontario, had a troublesome walkway for the tenant who lived there. The concrete slabbed walkway had experienced some sinking and shifting causing the pathway to be ankle bending and full of tripping hazards. On numerous occasions the tenant left the unit and tripped on it during all hours of the day, causing them to avoid the walkway as a whole making it pointless to have one. Minus the tripping hazards, during wet or cold days, the lower points would pool or even freeze creating a slipping issue. To prevent liability issues and tackle this job without spending a whole lot, the homeowners wanted to level out the concrete permanently.

A call was made to Canadian Concrete Leveling since we can provide an honest quote, same-day installation, quick cleanup, effective price, and long-lasting work. Our Project Manager, Andy Moncrieff, went to the home to provide the owners with a schematic as to what will be happening once the installation team comes over. On a later day, our Installation Specialists, Kyle and JP, arrived at the home. With the given schematics, they were able to lift the slabs quickly and non-invasively. the material used for the levelling is a high-density polyurethane. A lot of other methods require more cement or a self-levelling liquid; both are effective and short-term. To get the long-term results with a lightweight material, you'd need our polyurethane, known as PolyLevel®. In order to get the PolyLevel® underneath the slab, small dime-sized injections are made to attach our nozzle for our hose. The hose contains our polyurethane and then gets injected in moderation into the sinking slab. The concrete lifts almost immediately and cures within minutes, leaving our homeowners and tenants worry-free about walking in and out of their unit.
