Uneven concrete is much more than an eyesore. It can also be a safety hazard.
This homeowner in Gormley, ON, called Canadian Concrete Leveling when they noticed two slabs on their driveway were sinking. They were directed to Project Manager, Paul Mendell. He explained to Paul that their main concern was a potential tripping hazard, and they didn’t want to be liable for an injury that could have been avoided. Another fear they had was for the snow plow that came to clear their driveway off in the winter. Hitting the uneven slabs could easily damage the equipment and make for an expensive repair.
Our trusted installation team happily used Canadian Concrete Leveling’s PolyLevel® polyurethane injection system to lift the settled slab back to its original height. Our PolyLevel® is a superior choice because it’s waterproof, cures quickly, is non-invasive and is very adjustable.
In only a couple of hours, the homeowner’s peace of mind was restored. They didn’t have to worry about someone getting injured or pay a hefty bill to fix a damaged plow in the winter. They also could not get over how quickly the lead installer and his team completed the job along with leaving the site so clean!

It's that time of year to clean up the back patio, uncover all the furniture, and get the grill ready, but there was one problem when setting up this space. In Washago, Ontario, this concrete back patio had started to sink and crack. The homeowners were worried about how much this fix would cost. In addition, the concrete was now angled so that when rainwater would land on top, it would get directed toward the home's foundation. Only half the concrete was sinking which resulted in it cracking down the middle. Weighing their options, they decided to have the pros at Canadian Concrete Leveling handle the situation.
Our most experienced Project Manager, Paul Mendell, arrived at the home to recommend two products that would leave the patio levelled back to its standard height and sealed from all the elements. Our Installation Supervisor began the leveling process using our PolyLevel® Injection System. High-density, quick-expanding polyurethane is injected through the concrete to fill voids and stabilize the soil below. PolyLevel® is a lightweight and long-lasting solution for all sinking concrete. To seal everything together and protect the PolyLevel®, the crew used our NexusPro® sealant. The homeowners were amazed by the professionalism and swiftness of the work. Now it's time to get that patio back in action.
A successful, entrepreneurial educator and owner of a learning centre for children with special needs and Autism was working on a new project in Goodwood, ON. She was building hydroponic greenhouses to give her students a chance to learn more about growing plants and also experience a little bit about being self-sufficient. Unfortunately, this principal noticed the concrete slabs that were supposed to hold the greenhouses were no longer level but were slanting in some areas as much as 9 inches!
After doing some research, the principal gave us a call at Canadian Concrete Leveling. Our Project Lead, Paul Mendell, met the principal at her site, checked the slabs and then recommended our PolyLevel® Injection System to lift, level and stabilize the concrete. Once our installation team arrived, Billy McKeown and Kyle McKeown injected polyurethane through dime-sized holes in the concrete to lift the slabs back to their original pour and back to being level again.
The principal was ecstatic that we were able to fix the concrete slabs in such a short amount of time. Her project was back on track, she had peace of mind finally, and we were more than happy to provide a permanent solution.
Pouring and installing a concrete patio can be a costly endeavor and something that you don’t want to have to repeat. When cracks or settling happens, it can be hard to figure out the next step.
A customer in Uxbridge, Ontario, had a beautiful backyard with a concrete slab patio. The concrete had settled, causing a large step to sink. The customer is very happy that his step is in the correct position once again, and his investment is protected.
A garage is an excellent addition to a home, but like everything, they require maintenance and upkeep.
A customer in Uxbridge, Ontario, had a small garage connected to his backyard. A concrete patio led to the garage, but the slabs had settled over the years and created a tripping hazard.
The customer wanted to remedy the situation and reached out to Canadian Concrete Leveling. Project Manager Joe McColl showed the homeowner our methods, and he was thrilled to see our solution.
