A large gap around a family’s pool deck became a huge concern for safety when the children swimming had a few close calls. They called CCL to see about finding a solution so they could continue entertaining without the worry of other safety concerns.
Our Project Manage assured the homeowners that they would be back to entertaining in no time with our PolyLevel Injection System. PolyLevel® is used to lift and level out the gap between the two concrete slabs by the steps. With the finished look, the gap was closed and the stress of a potential slip and trip accident was gone!
Basement foundations are susceptible to water damage, so keeping water away is a great first step to ensure a dry basement.
A customer in Uxbridge, Ontario, was dealing with a front porch that was sloping towards their home. Each time it rained water would pool beside the foundation. They were concerned about water seepage and didn’t like continually having a puddle outside their home, so they reached out to Canadian Concrete Leveling.
Project Manager Joe McColl met with the customer at his home and inspected his front porch. He took measurements of the slope and settlement, and a date was set for the repair.
Foreman Bill McKeown drilled dime-sized holes throughout the front porch. He used these holes to install our PolyLevel® polyurethane system. PolyLevel® expands as it’s injected beneath concrete, compressing fill soils and lifting slabs.
The customer is thrilled that his porch no longer pools. His basement is protected, and our non-invasive method saved him the time and money of pouring new concrete.
Our new client in Port Sydney, Ontario, had an uneven basement floor. The home is currently under construction, and the basement concrete flooring was poured in the Springtime. Unfortunately, the concrete did not settle properly, and when Summertime rolled around, it caused the outer edges to sink, leaving the middle higher like a hill. The builder needed to find a solution quickly that won't break the budget for the home.
In little to no time, the builder found our social media pages and knew we could fix the concrete effectively and affordably. After contacting us, we sent our experienced Project Manager, Paul Mendell, to the home. He walked the builder through what would be done, how long it would take, and what day works for them to bring the installation team. Once the schematic was drafted, and the quote was made, we got the go-ahead to bring our Installation Specialist, Bill McKeown, to the job site and begin the work. With the schematic in place and the builder removing the middle hump, this leveling job was no challenge for Bill. Within less than an hour, everything was levelled to perfection. Our polyurethane injection method went into full effect, leaving the builder stunned with the result.
Planning for retirement is exciting, but also a lot of work. It takes a lot of financial planning, but the reward of enjoying your golden years is well worth it.
A customer in Sebright, Ontario, recently purchased a cottage property. He had torn down the original building but wanted to keep the garage as a place to work on his classic cars with his son during his retirement. It's a great space for a workshop, but the concrete slab the garage was sitting on had cracked and settled.
We had previously done work for the customer's home in Uxbridge, Ontario, so he knew exactly who to call when he discovered the problem.
Project Manager Paul Mendell met with the customer at his new property and inspected the garage. Paul discovered that voids had formed beneath the building, and this was causing the concrete to settle.
Foreman Bill McKeown worked hard using our PolyLevel® System to lift the concrete slab. Bill injected our high-density polyurethane beneath the slabs to evenly lift the concrete.
The customer is thrilled that his garage is level. He can start to renovate and turn it into a shop, and he's delighted that Canadian Concrete Leveling exceeded his expectations once again for a fraction of the cost.
Many people have been using their pools more than ever this year. We can’t travel around due to COVID-19, so people have been bringing their backyards back to life.
A customer in Ajax, Ontario, has had sinking concrete in his backyard for close to six years. He had been using the pool more than ever this summer, so the concrete was becoming more of an issue and he was concerned what would happen in the future. After meeting with Project Manager Kyle O’Brien and seeing our solution, the customer was eager to set up a date for the repair.
Our installation crew started the repair by drilling dime-sized holes throughout the concrete slabs. He used these holes as injection ports for our PolyLevel® high-density polyurethane, which expands below the surface. This lifts the concrete and compresses any fill soils, helping to prevent the issue from returning.
The customer is happy that his pool deck is level and safe.
