When winter is finally over, spring holds great anticipation for spending more time outside. For homeowners in Kitchener, ON those ideas quickly faded when they discovered sinking concrete in several areas – the garage, driveway and backyard patio. They knew the concrete needed to fixed to protect their vehicles and prevent water from pooling along the foundation of the house. Out of Water Experience
Pools are a hassle during the setup process. Uncovering the pool, cleaning it out, and ensuring the chemicals are balanced, the surrounding pool deck is ready to rumble. Everything checked off with this pool in Kitchener, Ontario, except the surrounding pool deck. The deck consisted of more giant concrete slabs, similar to a side walkway, and over time the slabs shifted outward, leaving a separation between the deck and the pool and various tripping hazards.    The separation between the pool deck and the actual pool can result in foundation cracking in the pool from the elements. To prevent that from happening and to put the tripping to a halt, the homeowners contacted Canadian Concrete Leveling. The great thing about our work is that we don't replace your already existing, good condition concrete; we lift it with our high-density polyurethane. After the initial call from the homeowners, we scheduled a day for our Project Manager, Andy Moncrieff, to provide an honest quote. Then on a later day, we have our installation team, JP and Kyle, come to the home and start with the polyurethane injections. Our injection holes are dime-sized and are sealed off with our anti-cracking, waterproof, and chemical resistant sealant. The process took under 30 minutes to set up, do the work, to clean up. The owners were impressed and didn't have to worry about water coming anywhere outside the pool.
From Sunken Slabs to Solid Ground: A Kitchener Patio Success Story
In this Kitchener backyard, years of wear and the sheer weight of massive concrete slabs had taken their toll on the patio. The soil beneath the surface eroded over time, causing the heavy slabs to sink unevenly. Cracks appeared along the relief cuts, and sections of concrete shifted apart, creating not only an eyesore but a significant safety hazard for the homeowners. To tackle these heavy-load challenges, Canadian Concrete Leveling used a high-density polyurethane polymer injection. This specialized material flowed into the voids left by eroded soil and expanded with precision, lifting the massive concrete slabs back to a level and stable position. Unlike traditional replacement methods, this approach preserves the existing patio while delivering structural strength from below. Once the slabs were properly stabilized, we applied our premium crack and joint sealant. This step bridges gaps, reinforces the surface, and protects against future water infiltration—ensuring the patio remains resilient through seasonal changes.   The finished result is a functional, safe, and visually appealing outdoor space, restored without the cost, mess, or disruption of a full concrete replacement. By combining advanced lifting technology with expert sealing, this Kitchener patio is now level, secure, and ready to be enjoyed for years to come, offering the homeowners peace of mind and a patio that truly stands the test of time.
Sidewalk Concrete Repair & Sinking Walkway Leveling in Elora
On this charming property in Elora, the side walkway — the essential path running along the side of the home — had started to show the effects of time, weather, and shifting soil. Over the years, the concrete slabs had settled unevenly, creating dips, gaps, and a surface that was both unsightly and unsafe. A sinking or uneven walkway isn’t just a cosmetic issue. Open cracks and low spots collect water and debris, which accelerates concrete deterioration and can create serious trip hazards. For homeowners, a compromised walkway is more than an inconvenience; it’s a long-term maintenance concern that, if left unchecked, can lead to costly repairs. The homeowner wanted a solution that would restore the walkway to its original level, ensure safety, and prevent future sinking — without the need for full replacement. Our team provided professional sidewalk concrete repair using our specialized polyurethane injection concrete lifting process. By injecting high-density polyurethane beneath the slabs, we stabilized the subgrade and precision-lifted each section back to its original height. This technique addresses the root cause of the problem, not just the surface symptoms, ensuring the walkway is structurally sound and long-lasting. After leveling, we applied our premium crack and joint sealant, creating a flexible, watertight barrier that protects the walkway from future erosion, water damage, and soil movement. The combination of slab lifting and sealing results in a smooth, safe, and durable walkway — ready to withstand Canadian weather for years to come. With this approach, homeowners get more than just a repaired walkway; they gain peace of mind knowing their concrete is stabilized, protected, and visually appealing. If your walkway in Elora or surrounding areas shows signs of settling, sinking, or cracking, professional sinking walkway leveling and concrete stabilization can restore it efficiently, cost-effectively, and with minimal disruption. Contact Canadian Concrete Leveling today for expert sidewalk concrete repair, sinking walkway solutions, and durable concrete slab stabilization services. Make your walkway safe, level, and long-lasting — because every step counts.

In Guelph, Ontario, a stunning walkway was compromised by shifting, trip-hazardous concrete. As a result, when having guests of all ages over, many would fall leading up to the house. The homeowners became very anxious that someone would get severely hurt. In order to entertain again and prevent injury, the walkway had to get levelled out. It was time to make a call and take a step in the right direction, literally.    Andy Moncrieff visited the home to give the homeowners a look at what would be done to fix the walkway. Sinking Garage Floor in Collingwood, ON
Do you have an uneven garage floor? Well, trust us, you're not alone. Homeowners face this prevalent problem because of soil settlement beneath their homes. However, if left unfixed, you risk other issues, such as structural complications. Take this homeowner in Collingwood, for example; he called us concerned with the uneven concrete in his garage and was worried that it would cause the garage walls to cave in or collapse. Rest assured, Project Manager Paul Mendell introduced our customer to our PolyLevel® solution. Installation Supervisor Kyle McKeown injected the polymer through small, dime-sized holes drilled into the floor. Within a few hours, the homeowner's garage floor was lifted, levelled, and restored to its original grade. Our customer's mind is at ease that his garage floor would no longer face structural damage!
Tilted Steps and Walkway Sunken Towards Foundation, Stayner, ON
A home in Stayner, Ontario had a walkway that sank towards the home and the steps had also sank, tilting down.  Rainwater was running towards the foundation wall and the homeowner was worried it would leak into the basement. The top step of the porch was too high and the homeowner knew it was difficult for their older parent to use the steps.  The customer called Canadian Concrete Leveling and spoke to Paul Mendell who explained the solution we had to their problem. Bill Mckeown and Kyle Mckeown came and used PolyLevel Injection and NexusPro Sealant. We injected the high density, structural grade polymer, to lift and stabilize the walkway and front steps. After leveling, the sealant was applied along the home wall and around the steps. The walkway was lifted and stabilized back to its original pour level, so that water runs away from the home. The steps were lifted back to correct height and straightened. Applying NexusPro Sealant afterwards, ensured that no water could penetrate between the walkway and wall, as well as behind or under the steps.  The customer was satisfied with the job and it gave them the peace of mind that their steps were now safely back to the correct height and that no water could get down the foundation wall.
